Anti-corrosive Lamiflex
Anti-corrosion Lamiflex is a multi-layer composite material, often composed of layers of plastic (e.g. PE or PP) and other protective components. It is often reinforced or laminated for higher mechanical resistance. It contains an anti-corrosion layer or impregnation** (e.g. VCI – volatile corrosion inhibitors) that actively protects metal surfaces.
Features:
- ✅ Anticorrosive effect: actively prevents rust and metal oxidation without the need for direct contact – acts in air sealed in the packaging.
- ✅ Strength and flexibility: tear, impact and moisture resistant, easily conforms to the shape of the product.
- ✅ Low weight: reduces overall packaging weight and shipping costs.
- ✅ Resistant to water, dust, oil and chemicals.
- ✅ Reusability and recyclability (depending on formulation).
Uses:
- Protection of tubes, profiles, sheets, machine parts or complete plants during export packaging.
- Used in the automotive, engineering, metallurgical and energy industries.
- Ideal for long-term storage and long-distance transport (e.g. shipping or rail transport).
Advantages over conventional packaging:
- No need to use lubricants or waxes to protect metals.
- Minimizes the cost of cleaning products after unpacking.
- Protects against mechanical damage due to multi-layer construction.
