MULTIferro® Chips

MULTIferro®CChips is a functional cellulose sheet saturated with VCI inhibitors in various sizes, used as a packaging additive and for corrosion protection. It therefore belongs to the category of anticorrosion packaging. Metal products can therefore be packed straight dry without prior preservation or passivation, as corrosion protection is provided by MULTIferro® Chips. MULTIferro®Chips contain VCI (Volati Corrosion Inhibitors). The packaging must be kept sealed in cardboard, PE film or otherwise tightly closed MULTIferro® Chips will then provide corrosion protection.

MULTIferro® Chips are used to protect metal products from corrosion. They work best in sealed packaging where they gradually release VCI inhibitors. These create a protective atmosphere that protects the surface of the metals.
