Solololite boards, also known as HDF (High Density Fibreboard), are thin, smooth and very strong boards made by pressing fibreboard material under high pressure and temperature. They are primarily used as a protective, reinforcing or separating element in packaging where increased mechanical resistance, rigidity and stability are required.

Due to their smooth surface, flatness and good machinability, they are ideal for overlaying surfaces, backing or reinforcing carton packaging. They also ensure even pressure distribution and prevent damage to packaged goods during transport or stacking.
