Anti-corrosion packaging in practice
The story of a warehouse: How we stopped metal mould corrosion 🔧
Mr. “Novák” runs a tool shop in South Bohemia. Everything was working well – until the metal moulds stored on Euro pallets started to rust. Although they were covered with normal foil and the warehouse was clean, after a few weeks the first signs of corrosion appeared. After six months, it was already an unnecessary cost for cleaning and maintenance.
A solution that works
After consulting with us – Bropack solution s.r.o. – we suggested deploying VCI bags, which protect the moulds from corrosion for up to 12 months. No oils, no coatings, no unnecessary work.
What we delivered:
Bag size: 1250 × 850 × 1600 mm
Material: VCI LDPE film, 150 µm
Design: with bottom, sealed with adhesive tape or welding
Price: approx. 160 CZK/pc (approximate according to quantity, microns)
Tip: We recommend to add also desiccant bags
Result?
After three months, we called Mr. “Novak”:
“Molds are fine, no rust. And yet it was so simple. Thanks!”
Today he packs molds, spares and prototypes in VCI bags – and has cleanliness even with long storage.
We gained a new customer who appreciated the professionalism of our team backed by a perfect result.Do you have a similar problem?
