Anti-corrosion paper MULTIferro® CU90
MULTIferro® CU90 anti-corrosion paper is a special packaging material used to protect metal products from corrosion. This type of paper is particularly suitable for copper and its alloys, which are prone to oxidation - typically manifested by a green colour. By comparison, iron corrodes red, while aluminium oxidises grey (but this is not classic corrosion).
MULTIferro® CU90 anticorrosive paper
Anticorrosive paper MULTIferro® CU90 is a special packaging material used to protect metal products from corrosion. It is made of high quality kraft paper and is infused with Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors, which are substances that are gradually released into the environment and create a protective atmosphere around the metal.
This type of paper is particularly suitable for copper and its alloys, which are prone to oxidation – typically manifested by green discoloration. By comparison, iron corrodes to red, while aluminium oxidises to grey (but this is not classic corrosion).
MULTIferro® CU90 protects metal parts without the need for lubrication, preservation or chemical passivation. It can also be used on heavier parts because it is strong and effective on both sides.</p
It also has the advantage that it does not contain nitrites or heavy metals and is therefore safe for humans and the environment.
