GUNWARD® B-BAG LT (Long-term) is a high quality modified PE with VCI technology, designed for long-term protection of weapons, ammunition and metal components for up to 30 months. It combines mechanical protection against shock, abrasion and vibration with extremely effective VCI corrosion protection. To ensure the desired duration of effectiveness, the product is designed for single use.
After the protected item is packaged, volatile corrosion inhibitors (VCIs) are released from the material in a controlled manner, creating a stable corrosion-protective atmosphere inside the packaging for up to 30 months. As a result, weapons and metal parts can be stored completely dry, free of oils, vaselines and preservative lubricants, yet remain protected for a long time.
