Reliable protection against moisture, condensation, and subsequent damage to products during storage and transport

Desiccant bags are a simple yet highly effective way to maintain a dry environment inside packaging. They contain special desiccants, most commonly bentonite , which can absorb moisture from the air and thus maintain low relative humidity inside the packaging. This prevents water condensation from forming on the surface of products and subsequent damage, such as corrosion, oxidation, mold growth, or deterioration of sensitive materials.

The bags are made of dust-free nonwoven fabric, which allows moisture to pass through to the sorbent inside while remaining mechanically durable and dustproof. Thanks to a wide range of weights and fill quantities, a table can be used to select the optimal type based on the size of the packaged space and the required level of protection.

They are used either on their own or in combination with barrier films and moisture indicators, especially for the export and long-term storage of products exposed to fluctuating temperatures and high humidity, typically during maritime transport.
