Anti-corrosion VCI packaging: films, bags and bags against corrosion

When a regular package is not enough

In a previous article we showed how VCI packaging works and why it is a simple solution to protect metal products against corrosion. But when you need to protect larger parts, entire pallets or products for export, that’s where industrial corrosion protection packaging comes in.

In addition to the classic VCI films, anti-corrosion bags and VCI bags are often used to quickly and safely package a variety of product types – from small parts to large engineering components.

How do they work?

The principle remains the same. The anti-corrosive agents are gradually released from the packaging into the enclosed space and form a protective layer on the metal surface that prevents corrosion. The product thus remains protected during storage and transport.
