How we test metal protection in extreme conditions at Bropack
Corrosion doesn’t happen in the lab, but in the real world – during storage, transport or changes in temperature and humidity. That’s why Bropack tests its VCI packaging in conditions that simulate these situations as closely as possible. A major added value is the independent verification in cooperation with Measure s.r.o., which provides customers with an even higher level of assurance.
A key tool is the condensing chamber, which creates an environment of high humidity and condensation. This will quickly reveal how effectively the packaging protects metal parts against corrosion.
“We have a long-standing emphasis on making our solutions work for customers in real-world conditions, not just on paper. At the same time, independent testing allows us to offer maximum confidence in the results,” says Mr. Brožíček, owner of Bropack solution.
Testing VCI packaging to give confidence
In the extreme conditions of the chamber, even minor material flaws will become apparent within a short period of time. Through a combination of internal testing and independent verification, Bropack has immediate and objective feedback and can guarantee that the chosen solution will stand up to the rigours of operation.
So the customer doesn’t just get packaging, but independently verified protection tailored to the specific conditions – be it long-term storage, export or sensitive metal components.
Customised solutions
The condensing chamber also allows you to more accurately recommend the optimal type of VCI packaging for a specific application. Again, independent testing plays a role here, helping to confirm the correctness of the design in practice.
Thus,
Bropack is not going down the path of one-size-fits-all products, but rather verified and independently validated solutions that can be relied upon.
