MULTIferro® PX145 anticorrosive paper

MULTIferro® PX145 anticorrosive paper is a rigid packaging material for corrosion protection of metal products. It is made of smooth kraft paper with VCI corrosion inhibitors, reinforced with a polypropylene (PP) grid and coated with a protective layer of polyethylene (PE).

The volatile inhibitors create a protective environment that prevents rust – without the need for oils or other preservatives. The PE coating makes the paper resistant to moisture and water and suitable for heavier and sharper parts.

MULTIferro® PX145 is primarily used to package coils, sheets and other large metal products where a combination of high strength and reliable corrosion protection is needed. The inhibitors are non-toxic, free of nitrites and heavy metals.
