Technical Description – VCI ANTICOfol® Anti-Corrosion Bags

VCI ANTICOfol® corrosion bags are used to effectively protect metal products against corrosion during storage, handling and transport. They contain VCI corrosion inhibitors that are gradually released inside the sealed package, creating a protective atmosphere around the metal product.

There is no need to oil, lubricate or otherwise preserve the products. The protection is dry, clean and without residue on the surface.

ANTICOfol® anticorrosive bags are made of LDPE film with an integrated VCI component. They are designed for packaging metal parts, machine parts, spare parts, components and products for export.

Once the bag is closed, an environment is created inside that protects the metal from moisture, oxygen and other corrosive influences. VCI bags are suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous metals and are used especially where long-term protection is needed without the use of oils.
